In 2022, the European Union raised concerns about the due diligence of Vanuatu’s citizenship by investment project.Visa exemption for Vanuatu passport suspended. This means that Vanuatu passport holders can no longer enter the 27 EU countries (including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc.) and Schengen area countries without a visa.
